In this offering, iris, the noblest ingredient of the perfumer’s palette, suffuses the elegant heart of the scent. Its sparkling, powdery sillage, softened with woody notes, follows the Lalique woman from metropolis to metropolis and from emotion to emotion.
Living Lalique takes off with effusive, crystalline notes of bergamot, sparkling black pepper and cool, sweetly aromatic nutmeg.
In the heart of the fragrance, the majestic iris unveils its splendour. This most precious of ingredients requires a six-year process, from the moment the flower is planted to the extraction of the orris butter, before yielding its silky, powdery facets to perfumers. To showcase the modernity of this timelessly refined note, Richard Ibanez, who signs Living Lalique, has softened it with a balsamic accord of vanilla and almond-scented tonka beans. The woody accents of this sumptuous iris, enhanced by the smokiness of vetyver, the creaminess of sandalwood and the voluptuous warmth of Cashmere wood, extend into the base notes in a highly sophisticated sillage.
The noblest and most highly concentrated form of the fragrance, with an even richer measure of orris butter, the Extrait de Parfum is offered in two exceptional presentations: a precious crystal bottle and a very exclusive limited edition of twelve crystal bottles decorated with gold leaf.<.p>
